Miranda shrugged. "Just another word for zombie. I like it better," she said simply, glancing at her nails again. Somehow, they were still perfect after all this zombie-killing nonsense.

"Oh, I feel foolish now. This zombie stuff is terrible isn't it. All this blood is disgusting and my hair looks terrible. All I could retrieve from my house was this knife that used to be my mom's." she said, pulling out the knife. "Not very good for killing zombies." The least she could do right now was make some new friends and maybe some enemies. Someone she could hate and talk about.

Miranda chuckled a little. She knew how unpleasant it was to feel ugly, which was why she always took the time to look her best. "I'd get you a brush or something, but I left all my stuff in my apartment in the city. I kinda left so I could start over and find some people to team up with." She sat still a moment, looking remorseful. "I sure wish I'd brought my compact, though."

Chandra remembered she did grab some other stuff. ALL of her make-up,(she couldn't live without it.)three brushes, a lot of bottled water, most of her tank tops and shorts, and the one pair of sneakers that she owned. She rifled through her bag and pulled out the make-up and brushes. "I just remembered, I grabbed this stuff before I left too." she said excitedly. She showed Miranda her make-up and smiled as she ran the brush through her hair.

Kale turned to look at the guy sitting next to him, almost appalled by his overdone emo look. He snaked his fingers through his hair as he spoke. "My name's Kale. What's your name, and where'd you get those violet contact lenses?" This actually interested him, for he had been planning on getting his parents to buy a pair for him.

Holly was glad she'd put on her seat belt. "Bill..." she said in a matter-of-fact tone, "You're gonna spill your beer and waste it, and we'll hit a tree and get stranded with a bunch of the walkers surrounding the van." This scenario sounded very likely, especially with the potential luck of the group.

Miranda smiled halfheartedly at Chandra and her plentiful makeup and clothing. Really, she was about to boil over with jealousy. "Oh, well isn't that lucky," she said obsequiously, her smile brightening. Her expression turned sour as her nose caught the scent of Bill's Pabst. "What is that godawful smell?" she whined.

Bill, ignoring Miranda, looked at Holly and shrugged. "Ma'am, I am a professional drunk driver. I never spill my drink, and I never spill my car either." He thought his bored tone made the statement about ten times more ironic.

"You're welcome to borrow it." Chandra said as she smiled. She could sense the Miranda's jealousy and she fed on it. "I got it ALL in New York City. From the best boutiques." Chandra smirked and chuckled in her mind. She felt so good.

"Oh, I got them at Wal-mart. They're not prescription either. They have all different colors." He said as he pulled his back-pack onto his lap. "I have emerald green, sapphire blue, violet obviously, and ruby red. They're my babies, I couldn't live without them. Almost as much as I can't live without hair gel and eye liner. Oh, and I'm Robert." He pulled out each and everyone of his contact lenses and showed them to Kale. "You can borrow a pair if you like." He said smiling.
